UI/UX Developer

Responsibilities

• They will be a member of a development team charged with supporting full stack applications in languages like Java, Angular, C#, PHP, React, and Vue.js
• These applications enable the American public and critical infrastructure leaders real-time visibility to environmental and compliance information throughout the United States
• They will deliver accessible, elastic environmental information for the agency and American public, as well as integrate with adjacent program offices to integrate and maintain capabilities
• Develop, create, and modify business applications software or specialized utility programs
• Incorporate human centered and user-centered design methodologies to analyze user needs and deliver user-center software solutions
• Design software or customize software based on client requirements, with an emphasis on optimizing efficiency and reliability
• May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
• Interface with technical team members, adjacent program offices, adjacent contractors, and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• We are looking for an UI/UX application development professional to modernize and maintain a broad application portfolio including geospatial, mobile, web-based, and business applications for a Federal critical infrastructure agency
• US Citizenship Required
• Ability to obtain US Security Clearance Required
• University degree (BS) in a closely related field (Information Technology, Business Administration)
• 5+ years demonstrated experience as a full stack software or application developer
• Required Certifications: Advanced certification in programming languages like Java, C#, PHP, Angular, and React
