UX Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design: discovery → flows → wireframes → annotated high-fidelity mockups
• Run research: stakeholder & SME interviews and workshops, moderated user interviews, moderated usability testing and surveys; synthesize insights into actionable direction
• Master complexity: translate rules, edge cases and integrations into simple workflows that advocate for automation opportunities to remove steps and errors
• Partner cross-functionally: with Product, Business, SMEs, Engineering, QA, Users and Compliance
• Contribute to the design system: create and document reusable patterns, states and guidance to raise UI quality and consistency
• Measure and iterate: partner with business and product to define success metrics, test and refine designs
• Strong portfolio of completed design projects with case studies showing your design process and contributions
• You take and provide constructive criticism to achieve the best results
• You take a pragmatic, iterative approach to your work and enjoy solving problems

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field
• 3 or more years of professional UX Design experience, including interaction design and information architecture work
• Experience designing complex, multi-layer desktop and web applications for enterprise users
• Experience working closely with Product Management/Product Owners to deliver valuable and usable applications
• Expertise in Figma or other standard UX software such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD
• Experience creating or applying visual design and familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience in applying UX design best practices
• Experience working on Agile teams and the ability to evangelize Agile UX to team members
• Experience with requirements analysis and story breakdown
• Experience with design systems
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as handling multiple projects at the same time
• Strong attention to detail
