Senior UX Researcher, Accessibility

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct user research to uncover insights and identify potential accessibility challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to improve the overall accessibility of our products
  • Stay up-to-date with accessibility standards and guidelines to ensure our products are compliant and inclusive
  • Use a variety of research methods, such as usability testing, interviews, and surveys, to gather data on user experiences and identify areas for improvement
  • Analyze research findings and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders
  • Work closely with designers and developers to ensure accessibility is integrated into the product design and development process
  • Act as a subject matter expert on accessibility, providing guidance and support to other team members
  • Communicate and advocate for the importance of accessibility within the company and externally
  • Collaborate with product managers to prioritize accessibility features and enhancements
  • Contribute to the development of accessibility policies and guidelines for the company
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the accessibility of our products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on best practices and innovations in accessibility
  • Mentor and guide junior UX researchers on accessibility best practices
  • Act as a champion for inclusive design and advocate for accessibility in all aspects of our products and services
  • Collaborate with external organizations and user groups to gather feedback and insights on accessibility
