Senior UX Researcher, Accessibility
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct user research to uncover insights and identify potential accessibility challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to improve the overall accessibility of our products
- Stay up-to-date with accessibility standards and guidelines to ensure our products are compliant and inclusive
- Use a variety of research methods, such as usability testing, interviews, and surveys, to gather data on user experiences and identify areas for improvement
- Analyze research findings and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Work closely with designers and developers to ensure accessibility is integrated into the product design and development process
- Act as a subject matter expert on accessibility, providing guidance and support to other team members
- Communicate and advocate for the importance of accessibility within the company and externally
- Collaborate with product managers to prioritize accessibility features and enhancements
- Contribute to the development of accessibility policies and guidelines for the company
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the accessibility of our products, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
- Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on best practices and innovations in accessibility
- Mentor and guide junior UX researchers on accessibility best practices
- Act as a champion for inclusive design and advocate for accessibility in all aspects of our products and services
- Collaborate with external organizations and user groups to gather feedback and insights on accessibility
