Communications System Specialist

Responsibilities

• We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Designer to collaborate with our team on exciting projects that enable the core of our clients' businesses
• This role involves working on various projects assigned by organization leadership or project managers, and will play a key part in the entire design process from preliminary assessments to construction administration
• The Telecommunications Designer will be responsible for providing technical designs for building projects, including telecommunications, electronic security, audio-visual systems, and related technologies
• Responsibilities include preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, reports, review technical documents, and completion of project assignments with minimal supervision
• Additionally, you will provide guidance and direction to support staff to complete projects effectively

Skills

• Minimum 5 years' experience actively designing communications systems for buildings
• Experience with Revit
• Familiarity and demonstrated knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• HS Diploma, or equivalent
• Self-motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and customers
