Responsibilities

Actively design, expand, and continuously advance the future of the Marriott associate design system
Support hands-on efforts, oversee governance processes, and ensure the design system enhances the associate experience
Partner closely with the Director of Associate Experience and Engineering colleagues
Produce designs as an individual contributor and provide guidance to internal and external designers
Showcase experience in UX, UI, interaction design, and design systems within large-scale organizations

Skills

Champion design system governance while balancing visual design and engineering considerations
Promote system-mindset and design system best practices
Balance user, business, and technical needs
Communicate through compelling visuals and deliverables
Thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant experience in digital product design
4-year undergraduate degree in relevant discipline
Proficiency in usability and transactional design best practices
Experience with major, large-scale global digital products
Expertise in prototyping tools like Figma
