UX/Interaction Designer IV

Responsibilities

Visualize ideas using professional design tools and various ideation methods.
Initiate and respond to ideas for innovation/improvements based on research and analysis.
Identify user needs and business requirements.
Substantiate design approach with analysis and projections for improvements.
Ensure digital customer touch points are consistent with user experience and brand standards.
Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions.
Drive the design of navigation schemes, patterns, components, and templates across products.
Create low and high fidelity interactive prototypes through a collaborative process.
Work with usability researchers to design test plans and iterate designs based on user testing.
Create final design deliverables including process flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and executives for feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process.
Communicate with stakeholders to synthesize and review design project progress.
Respond to day-to-day questions from developers and project managers during implementation.
Work with QA to identify, document, and verify bug fixes.
Provide guidance and mentor junior designers

5+ years of professional UX design experience required
BA/BS or equivalent work experience required
Solid grasp of web design principles and understanding of front-end web technologies required
Excellent understanding of user experience design for web, mobile, and touch devices required
Experience in writing detailed design specifications for technology developers required
Strong ability to communicate design decisions and respond to business needs required
Proven ability to set design direction and collaborate with other designers required
Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design required
Great communication skills and experience working in collaborative teams required
