Product Designer (6 Month Contract)
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications that serve a diverse, global audience.
- Support projects across the full product development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to deliver high-quality features that balance design quality with technical feasibility.
- Apply and expand the design system to ensure consistency across platforms and future scalability.
- Produce well-documented design files to facilitate smooth handoffs to engineering teams.
- Integrate digital advertising thoughtfully to optimize revenue while maintaining excellent user experience.
- Conduct user research and incorporate feedback to continuously improve design solutions.
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating measurable impact.
- Expertise in Figma, including libraries, variables, modes, auto-layout, and prototyping.
- Solid understanding of web and mobile interactivity, UI/UX fundamentals, information architecture, hierarchy, and layout.
- Proven ability to influence product strategy and contribute to business outcomes through design.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for music, digital media, social media, and technology.
- Experience with digital advertising and knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals is a plus.
