Product Designer

Responsibilities

  • Help guide the digital transformation of Horizon Cloud, our leading cloud service, driving the next-gen SaaS service
  • Work hand-in-hand with product managers to define product requirements and innovate new and meaningful ways to accomplish them
  • Be responsible for the complete user experience for your products and will interact with various internal and external stakeholders, customers, marketing, and multidisciplinary development teams to bring your vision to market
  • Identify requirements, develop user models, create wireframes and process flows to communicate your vision, prototype user interfaces for interaction validation, lead end-user focus groups, develop and maintain user interface specifications and guidelines, and resolve design trade-offs and implementation issues
  • Work with researchers or conduct research to learn about your end-users through interviews, research, and observation and will be expected to always represent and advocate for them
  • Become a subject matter expert, understanding the latest technology, solution, market trends, as well as competitive offerings related to our products
  • Create wireframes, flows, comps, prototypes, and produce assets to effectively communicate interaction and design work and validate idea

Skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team
  • 3+ years User Experience Design or equivalent experience designing software applications for enterprise, commercial desktop or web-based products
  • Skilled in interaction design
  • Love the challenge of quickly distilling complex problems into elegant, intuitive solutions
  • Demonstrable ability to create clear, detailed design and interaction specifications
  • First-hand experience in applying user-centered design processes and methodologies to the development of commercial software products (we will want to see wireframes, comps, documentation, and models)
  • Experience following brand standards and UX patterns
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Agile, adaptable, and capable of delivering new products and features
  • Obsessive attention to detail
