Senior User Experience Researcher

Responsibilities

  • Hybrid - This means the successful candidate is expected to report to their work location three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
  • This role is pivotal in driving human-centered innovation across ARC’s robotics platforms
  • You’ll partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure that ARC’s systems enhance human productivity, integrate seamlessly into dynamic environments, and support scalable, user-informed design decisions
  • Lead end-to-end UX research programs that inform product strategy and engineering priorities
  • Conduct advanced field studies and ethnographic research to uncover deep insights into human-robot collaboration
  • Develop and socialize journey maps, JTBD frameworks, and behavioral models to guide product development
  • Define and advocate for human-robot interaction principles that promote safety, efficiency, and trust
  • Translate complex research findings into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to building a culture of evidence-based design
  • Collaborate with engineering and design leadership to embed research into agile development cycles
  • Navigate the intersection of hardware and software to address unique challenges in robotics UX
