Web Developer / UX-UI Designer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and landing pages using WordPress and WebFlow.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to translate concepts into functional, engaging web experiences.
Lead the UX/UI design process from wireframes and mockups to final implementation.
Optimize website performance, user experience, and SEO best practices.
Integrate backend systems, APIs, and third-party services as required.
Ensure websites are mobile-optimized, accessible, and cross-browser compatible.
Perform website updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting as needed.
Implement website analytics and user experience testing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar).
Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, design trends, and development best practices.

5+ years of hands-on experience in web development and UX/UI design.
Strong proficiency in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, and CMS management).
Proficiency in backend development (e.g., PHP, MySQL, APIs).
Solid knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap.
Proven experience with UX/UI design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
Strong portfolio of responsive website projects demonstrating both design and development capabilities.
Experience with website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work on-site at our Mississauga office.
