Staff Android Engineer - Accessibility & UI Systems

Responsibilities:

Work closely with UI Systems leads and leads across Square to set technical direction.
Ensure a consistent experience across products at scale.
Focus on accessibility within the design system at scale.

5+ years experience working with Android's accessibility technologies.
General knowledge of mobile accessibility expectations and the WCAG set of standards.
12+ years Android development experience.
Jetpack Compose experience or knowledge.
Experience with UI design principles.
Experience building design systems or UI frameworks at medium to large scale.
Building relationships across design and engineering.
Leading through influence across engineers.
Experience as a technical lead / DRI for a small to medium sized team.
