UX Writer/Content Strategist

Responsibilities

• This role blends UX and digital marketing expertise to ensure content design aligns with enterprise-wide e-commerce and user engagement goals
• UX Writing & Content Design
• Craft and edit digital content, including long-form and microcopy, to support sitewide testing, personalization, and user journeys
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure content flow and structure enhance usability and engagement
• Apply UX writing best practices to guide users through shopping, educational, and service-related tasks
• SEO & Optimization
• Write and optimize content to close SEO gaps and improve organic traffic
• Partner with SEO teams to identify content needs and implement strategies to meet SEO goals
• Use analytics to inform content enhancements and A/B testing strategies
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with business leads to understand priorities and create content that supports business objectives
• Collaborate with brand, legal, and subject matter experts to ensure content aligns with tone, voice, and compliance standards
• Provide expert content strategy consultation across teams and campaigns
• Content Strategy & Governance
• Develop and manage content strategies that drive user engagement and conversions
• Conduct content audits, create style guides, and contribute to wireframes and content decks
• Ensure consistency and quality across all digital touchpoints

Qualifications

• We are seeking a skilled Content Strategist/UX Writer with a strong command of clear, concise UX writing—from long-form content to microcopy—and a strategic vision for website content
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of UX writing experience, preferably in a matrixed or e-commerce environment
• 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects and supporting testing/personalization initiatives
• Proven ability to use digital tools and data to meet customer and business needs
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders
