Graphic Designer / Motion Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Create compelling graphic design and motion graphics that captivate and engage audiences.
• Collaborate with the Creative team to develop innovative designs for a range of digital platforms.
• Create high-quality, compelling designs for web and mobile apps, large-format graphics, interactive documents, proposals, presentations, multimedia pieces, and traditional print materials.
• Package and prepare files for release to printers and maintain production files, including fonts, images, logos, and other artwork.
• Execute complex design and communication strategies, leading customer-centric journeys and crafting dynamic deliverables for various projects.
• Use knowledge of color theory, composition, and layout to transform concepts into visual storytelling.
• Understand and serve client business needs, working independently and collaboratively with cross-departmental teams.
• Prioritize work to accommodate tight timelines required by clients in both Eastern and Pacific time zones.
• Communicate the strategy and rationale for design decisions concisely and confidently to internal and external partners.
• Ensure brand consistency while offering fresh approaches and staying current with trends in design and technology.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field (extensive industry expertise may be considered in lieu of educational requirements).
• Three years of experience in an agency or in-house creative environment.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud design apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD).
• Motion graphic and video editing skills using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent visual communication skills and demonstrated expertise in graphic design and motion graphics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Exceptional typography skills and ability to adapt design styles and apply branded style guides consistently.
