UX/UI Designer
Responsibilities
- As a UX/UI Designer at Henri, you will play a crucial role in shaping the overall user experience of our platform.
- You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create designs that are not only functional but also delightful to use.
- You will be responsible for designing intuitive interfaces, ensuring consistent branding, and enhancing usability across both web and mobile platforms.
User Research & Testing
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, case studies and usability tests to gather insights into user needs, pain points, and behavior.
- Apply findings to improve design decisions.
Wireframing & Prototyping
- Create low and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows to visualize design solutions for web and mobile platforms.
UI Design
- Design and implement modern, aesthetically pleasing, and functional user interfaces that align with Henri's brand and user needs.
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, and other team members) to ensure design feasibility and consistency across the platform.
Design System Development
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Henri's design system to ensure consistency in design patterns, components, and visual language.
Usability & Accessibility
- Ensure all designs are optimized for usability, accessibility, and responsiveness, offering an inclusive experience for all residents.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to the product's UX/UI.
Skills
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Whimsical, Sketch, Adobe XD, and/or other design software.
- Strong understanding of design systems, responsive designs, accessibility, user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development to communicate design ideas effectively with developers.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and how to apply them to design.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate in a team environment, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
