UX/UI Designer - FT or PT
Responsibilities:
- Make an Impact on the Future of Education
- Design thoughtful and engaging user experiences for web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and educators to understand user needs
- Translate research and user insights into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product lifecycle
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback
- This role is hybrid - generally remote with occasional meetings in our office in Westford, MA
- We are open to someone working FT or PT – between 24 – 40 hours/week
Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably in an agile or fast-paced setting
- Strong portfolio showcasing web and/or mobile design work
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable designs
- Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design
- Passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the K–12 space

Qualifications:

- Experience in edtech or designing for educational audiences
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS)
