UX/UI Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that deliver on functionality and visual appeal.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
  • Develop design systems, user personas, and user journey maps to inform and guide design decisions.
  • Continuously improve existing UI/UX designs based on user feedback and analytics to optimize the user experience.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure design accuracy during the implementation phase, providing clear and effective design specifications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest UX/UI trends, best practices, and design tools to ensure the company remains at the forefront of design innovation.
  • Champion a design-driven culture by advocating for the user and promoting user-centered design principles across the team.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile app design work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and interaction design.
  • Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
  • Ability to conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, though not required.
  • Excellent communication skills to present and explain design decisions effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to create clean, pixel-perfect designs.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience designing educational tools or platforms.
  • Knowledge of animation principles for interactive elements.
  • Familiarity with Agile workflows and collaboration tools like Trello or Asana.
  • Ability to conduct A/B testing and analyze design performance metrics.
