Associate UI/UX Designer
Responsibilities
- You'll also support general design needs across the company, from marketing assets to brand visuals—helping maintain consistency and creativity across all touchpoints
- You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and implement user-centric solutions, ensuring that our digital experiences are both functional and aesthetically pleasing
- A solid foundation in graphic design will allow you to assist with everything from UI flows to presentation decks, social graphics, and digital content as needed
- This role will be primarily responsible for the Armada website and the future of our Growth products, shaping how users find, explore, and engage with Armada
- You'll own the creation of intuitive, high-impact digital experiences that distill complex technical concepts into clear, accessible, and visually engaging narratives
- Your work will make it easy for customers, partners, and prospects to quickly grasp Armada's value—regardless of their technical background
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs
- Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new and existing products
- Design intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience across platforms (web, mobile, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing, to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented and brand standards are upheld
- Assist with general graphic design tasks as needed, including marketing materials, presentation decks, social media graphics, email templates, and branded visual assets
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results
- Stay up to date with design trends, industry standards, and best practices to ensure the company's digital products remain innovative and competitive
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital and visual channels
- Ensure accessibility standards and usability guidelines are adhered to in all design work
Skills
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work across web and mobile platforms
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user flows
- A solid foundation in graphic design principles, layout, typography, and visual storytelling
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools for general design tasks
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple design projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
- Experience designing digital marketing or brand assets (e.g., emails, banners, social media posts) is a plus
- Familiarity with user research tools (e.g., UsabilityHub, Lookback, etc.) is a plus
