User Experience Designer (Insurance Background)

Responsibilities:

Must be able to work EST hours
Understands human-centered design principles and passionate to contribute to design projects
As an expert practitioner, embed with cross-functional teams to define the content strategy to improve user experiences and execute against their strategic priorities
Based on user insights and business priorities, drives the definition of a clear and actionable strategic direction for development and management of content for the product
Develops plans for content, contributes to information architecture and navigation decisions, creates taxonomies and content models as needed
Partners with UX Designers, providing a narrative perspective, succinct instructional text and microcopy to create easy-to-use transactional experiences
Creates messaging strategies and outlines
Creates content appropriate for the user personas
Ensures that content is implemented to deliver against the strategy, driving development of crisp, compelling user interface copy for wireframes, prototypes and any other associated assets and channels, delivering a consistent end-to-end experience
Uses data and customer feedback to measure the effectiveness of the content strategy and pivot as needed

4+ years of experience in content strategy or content design working with websites, apps and email
Proficiency in writing microcopy and instructional content for transactional experiences - rather than general website copy
Must submit a portfolio to be considered
Strong record of success in working on complex, multi-dimensional programs
