Principal Product Designer
Responsibilities
- In this role, you’ll shape the next generation of creative and marketing experiences powered by generative AI across Adobe GenStudio and Firefly Enterprise.
- You’ll combine storytelling, systems thinking, and user empathy to craft products that feel both innovative and unmistakably Adobe.
- You’ll guide cohesive design narratives and user journeys across GenStudio’s campaign orchestration and Firefly’s enterprise-grade generative capabilities.
- You’ll prototype, explore, and iterate through concepts and motion studies, all while ensuring exceptional design integrity through launch.
- You’ll also mentor and inspire other designers, helping shape the craft and culture of the team.
- Together, we’ll reimagine how generative AI empowers marketing organizations to scale creativity, accelerate content production, and deliver personalized experiences that resonate.
Skills
- Working closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams, you’ll make sure every experience feels intuitive, powerful, and connected—turning complex AI workflows into delightful, human-centered tools.
- We love designers who think big and get hands-on.
- 15+ years of experience designing and shipping world-class digital products.
- Proven ability to create and communicate a bold, unified design vision.
- A tinkerer’s mindset—comfortable with prototyping, vibe coding, and experimentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Clear, confident communication that encourages collaboration across functions and other product and design teams at Adobe.
- A drive to explore what’s next in design, AI, and creative technology.

- 💰 Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
- 💼 The U.S. pay range for this position is $175,600 - $334,500 annually.
- 💵 In California, the pay range for this position is $231,000 - $334,500.
- 📈 At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
- 🏢 Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
- 🎁 In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
