UX/UI Designer - Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Solve complex user challenges through elegant, user-centered workforce technology solutions for our clients
  • Plan and facilitate user research across information architecture, user interviews and focus groups
  • Synthesize research findings into key design artifacts: personas, user journeys, design opportunities
  • Create user-friendly designs that enhance usability and optimize the overall user experience, while identifying design challenges and proposing elegant, effective solutions
  • Understand product capabilities of client's selected technology (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.) to influence design approach and produce designs that will be configurable and maintainable
  • Utilize corporate brand documentation to ensure consistent presentation of the brand throughout the product
  • Produce all design assets including high-fidelity wireframes, user flows, design prototypes, user scenarios, user journey maps, etc. that support intuitive and seamless user interactions
  • Develop innovative approaches to complex design problems, presenting your ideas through mockups, presentations, and detailed design specifications.
  • Uphold high standards of user-centered design, iterating quickly and testing designs to enhance usability and consistency across touchpoints.
  • Plan and facilitate design validation activities with representative users through usability and user testing
  • Work closely with front-end developers to ensure visual design specs are delivered
  • Establish efficient team processes to ensure a collaborative approach that helps us deliver a quality experience on time
  • Assist with presentations, communications, and product support materials
  • Confidently ask questions and think holistically about solutions
  • Stay up to date with the latest UX trends, best practices, and methodologies in areas like information architecture, interaction design, and usability
  • Operate effectively in both collaborative environments with other UX designers and autonomously when acting as the sole UX designer on a product squad
  • Deliver high-quality UX work on time, showcasing your expertise in user experience design and detailed interactions

Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Visual Design or a related field
  • 2+ years as an interaction or product designer
  • 2+ years of recent proficiency in industry-standard tools (i.e. Figma, Adobe CC)
  • 2+ years of experience in interactive design principles, consistently delivering simple, elegant, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces rooted in usability and accessibility.
  • 2+ years of experience designing for both desktop and mobile platforms
  • 2+ years of experience in product development
  • Ability to provide a product design portfolio that includes elements of UX research, wireframes, concepts, data visualization, branding, high-fidelity prototype and designs, and the build, modification, and application of design systems
  • Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Benefits:

  • 💰 The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs
  • 💼 A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,400 - $155,400
  • 🏆 You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance
