UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities

• You’ll be instrumental in shaping the user experience, bringing clarity to complex financial concepts through intuitive UX and a passion for user-centered design
• This role requires a blend of design system stewardship, new feature development, and a commitment to understanding the needs of users
• You'll collaborate closely with FCAT's cross-functional teams

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio that shows off your interface design chops
• Expert-level skills in Figma and demonstrable experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work with UI /Front end dev teams to support bringing designs to production
• A solid grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and product thinking
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setup
• A self-starter who’s curious, adaptable, and always looking to learn
• Experience with or an interest in financial services, technology, and emerging tech—bonus points if you know your way around trading
• Great communication skills and a curiosity about storytelling through design

• Continually infuse the voice of users across program decisions
• Remain attuned to the competitive landscape, staying current on research for customer needs and trends
• Support defining project requirements, user stories, success metrics and acceptance criteria
• Be curious about social trends, technology and the economy
