UX/UI Designer
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process for digital products, including wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Conduct comprehensive user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions, ensuring optimal user flows and information architecture.
- Develop responsive web designs that function flawlessly across devices, utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and other front-end technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into compelling design solutions aligned with business goals.
- Create detailed user flows, layout designs, interaction models, and data visualizations that enhance user engagement and facilitate understanding of complex information.
- Apply design patterns and best practices in UX/UI to ensure accessibility standards (Web accessibility) are met while maintaining aesthetic consistency across platforms.
- Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to evaluate user behavior data and refine designs for improved usability.
- Support agile development cycles by participating in sprint planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and iterative design improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends in digital design, motion graphics (Adobe After Effects), and emerging technologies like React, Angular, RESTful APIs, AWS cloud services, and Unity for immersive experiences.
Skills:
- Proven experience designing engaging digital interfaces for web applications and mobile devices using tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Axure, Balsamiq, Zeplin, or similar platforms.
- Strong proficiency in front-end development fundamentals including HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, and responsive web design principles.
- Solid understanding of UX principles including interaction design (IxD), information architecture (IA), layout design (including wireframes and prototypes), usability testing (A/B testing), and design thinking methodologies.
- Experience working within an SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) environment using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques using tools like Power BI or Tableau to communicate insights effectively through visual means.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusive digital experiences for all users.
- Ability to analyze user data via tools like Google Analytics 360 or Omniture to inform iterative improvements in design solutions.
- Excellent analysis skills with a keen eye for detail—able to interpret business requirements into intuitive interfaces that meet user needs.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly across multidisciplinary teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Experience working on e-commerce platforms is highly desirable along with familiarity with CMS systems such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Additional skills in motion graphics, API integrations, or experience with Unreal Engine or Unity are considered a plus.
